This epic action-drama tells the story of the Trojan War, loosely based on Homer’s Iliad, with particular emphasis on the conflict between Brad Pitt’s super-soldier Achilles, Greece’s greatest warrior and Eric Bana’s Hector, Crown Prince of Troy, who through hpnour must protect his younger brother Paris (Orlando Bloom) whose romance with Helen, Princess of Troy (Diane Kruger)
has caused the war. Wolfgang’s Petersen’s impressive film is packed with stunning battle sequences and intense historical drama, with the city of Troy built at Fort Ricasoli and other scenes shot on Malta.
