The Theft of the Caravaggio

This new Maltese drama makes the most of its Valetta backdrop as it tells the
story of a seemingly audacious heist of an iconic, and priceless, Caravaggio
painting. Priest Orpheus (Paul Kissaun) is woken by police to discover the
valuable painting has been stolen from St John’s Cathedral. With the city on
edge, Leone (Elektra Anastasi), an art theft specialist from the US, arrives to
assist local police. As Orpheus’s life start to unravel as he feels pressure from
the church and from a mysterious outsider, the police start to get closer to
finding the complex truth behind the robbery
