A gorgeous, lyrical and immensely enjoyable hybrid music film, The Extraordinary Miss Flower has its origins in the secret cache of letters uncovered when Geraldine Flower passed away, featuring love-letters from around the world and hints at a life of espionage. Acclaimed Icelandic singer-songwriter Emiliana Torrini used the letters as inspiration for an album and takes centre stage in the film which also feature the likes of Nick Cave, Richard Ayoade and Alice Lowe, resulting in a lush and delightful film that brings Miss Flower (with her daughter Zoe Flower among the producers) enchantingly back to life.
