The Ballad of Wallis Island

Brimming with wonderful warm humour and whimsical charm, the film follows
eccentric lottery winner Charles (Tim Key, a regular on UK comedy shows), who
aims of getting his favourite band McGwyer Mortimer (Tom Basden and Carey
Mulligan) back together by paying them a vast amount of money to play a
private show (well, just for him) at his home on the remote Wallis island. The
bandmates and former lovers accept his invitation, but soon tensions resurface
as Charles tries desperately to salvage his dream gig. A gentle and warm-hearted delight.
