Compulsion

Harking back to steamy and violent erotic thrillers from the 1980s and ‘90s
(such as Basic Instinct and Single White Female) the latest film from genre
master Neil Marshall (who made cult chiller The Descent) follows the twisted
relationship between two women – played by Charlotte Kirk (as a ruthless
thief) and Anna-Maria Sieklucka (who has a troubled past) – as they become
caught up in a series of horrific murders in Malta. Sexy, bloody, twisted as
stylish, Compulsion is a classic genre romp.
