Blue Hawaii

A rocking and rolling 1961 musical romantic comedy/drama, Blue Hawaii features the legend that is Elvis Presley at his mesmeric best, playing Chadwick ‘Chad’ Gates, recently released from the Army and eager to get back to Hawaii and be reunited with his surfboard. Frustratingly he is encouraged to get a real job, and ends up as a tour guide, but ends up causing romantic turmoil as young women are smitten with his charms, much to the annoyance of his girlfriend. Cue surfing, misunderstandings, fun and a whole bunch of classic Elvis songs.
